BLACK SEA COUNTRIES
Animation project pitching I workshop 26-30.11.2024

Georgian Animators Association SAQANIMA is planning to held its BLACK SEA COUNTRIES Animation pitching I workshop in Tbilisi 26-30.11.2024. This year addition is open for the Black Sea Countries (Except Russia).

Annecy International Animated Film Festival France, French Ministry of foreign affairs, Institute Francais de Georgie, LINOLEUM Contemporary Animation and Media Art Festival Ukraine, Compote Collective and Sofia Animation LAB Bulgaria, ANIMEST Bucharest Animation Film Festival Romania, Animist Istanbul Animation Festival Türkiye, Film Studio KVALI, Georgian National Film Center, City Hall Tbilisi, Rooms Hotels, Ibis Budget, ACI The Association Of Creative Industries Georgia, NEF Animation France, Cee Animation Forum, Zippy Frames.
As a result of the competition, 10 animated film projects are selected by the international experts:

On the Balcony of a House – Anna Florea
2 Mentors from France Corinne Destomber and Olivier Catherin will arrive in Tbilisi and conduct a 5-day workshop for the authors. As a result of the workshop, 5 best projects will be selected by the experts of Annecy Festival, which will be presented at the BLACK SEA Partner Pitch event at MIFA market in June 2025. Another best project will receive one-month NEF residency at Abbaye Royal de Fontevraud, France for the year 2025. And one more prize for the best project will be CEE Animation Forum 2025 free accreditation.
